09/17/2006 I'm back from a weeks holiday in Crete, Greece!
The latest report from Spira says that she is getting bigger and bigger and that everything is OK with her. The next weekend I'm bringing her home to us. I don't think I have to write that I'm very excited about what is going to pop out and that it will be so nice to have a new bunch pf puppies at home again!
Two of the wildducks has been to Sofiero on conformation. There were 56 tollers entered! Nelly and Lova got CK but weren't placed in the best bitch class. 16 bitches were awarded CK and even a lot of males. So this judge were perhaps to nice in his judgement. Both Nelly and Lova has got CAC's before so there CK's is alright!
Nelly's ANA-test was Negative!
Xon and Eva has competed obecienceclass II today and has been awarded another 1st prize!
Nelly and Tina has today been at a tollingtest and the judge awarded them with a 2nd prize!

Updated Lova, Nelly and Xon.

09/06/2006 Good news:
Vad has got new titles! This time from Canada where his has got his JH and WCI finished.
Vad is also DNA-tested regarding CEA and is Free/Normal. He has also gotten his hips x-rayed according to the PennHip method and he is among the 10% that has got best hipscores! Kathy writes this about his result:
"An average of 0.30 or less is considered to be the top with a very low chance of degenerative hip disease. For breeding most retrievers you want the average to be less than 0.50 (which is the median distraction index for our breed) and any dogs with a greater than 0.70 will probably have hip dysplasia.
Vad's distraction index on his left was 0.23 and on his right (where they had a hard time reading it due to a trapped air bubble) it was a 0.32."
Read about the PennHip (University of Pennsylvania Hip Improvement Program) here!
Remus left bloodsample to the Tollerproject at the Speciality and has now got the result that his ANA-test was NEGATIVE and that feels great! Johanna and Remus did also start in "lower" class tracking and they almost got the points needed for the next level. Good luck this weekend!
Nelly entered a huntingtest in noviceclass but unfortunately she didn't get any prize this time.
Jessi was entered in the openclass but she was 17th reserve so she didn't get a chance to start. Krusmynta's entry came to the organizer one day to late so she didn't start either!
Tina L - hanks for the new picture of Moa!

08/31/2006 Congratulations to litter no 7 today on their 2nd birthday! It is 2 years since I had a litter last time so I'm thrilled that Spira is expecting in a month. I guess we will have the normal wildducks size of a litter - 5 or 6 puppies!

08/27/2006 Remus and Henrik managed to get another 1st prize with honors yesterday Gametracking! It was their third start together and their third 1st prize with honors!!! Fabulous guys!

07/10/2006 Now we are home again after our lovely three week trip to US where we met a lot of friends and of course Ray and Vad. More about this will come - over 1000 pictures were taken so it will take some time to go through those.....
Vad has got a new title - JH. Congratulations!
While in USA Remus became Norwegian Conformation Champion in just 8 days (he got his 3 CAC at three shows in a row!)  Congratulations! We will celebrate this at the Speciality.
