Thursday 11/04/2004

I picked up Jamie and Kathy at their hotell in the center of Malmö, in the afternoon. They arrived to Malmö at midnight from Copenhagen. They were supposed to come in the morning the 3rd of November via Amsterdam to Copenhagen but there were some long delays in Amsterdam.

We started with a little drive in Malmö but due to fog we couldn't see that much.
We'll take a trip on Friday instead.

Jamie and Kathy meets the puppies for the first time!

Friday 11/05/2004

First a little trip in Malmö - we drove along the Castle of Malmöhus, Turnings Torso and then to the Öresund bridge. There we took a walk with Lysa and Baron but the weather were really terrible.... so off to the puppies and out into the field instead.

Sverker and Camilla had prepared some tracks for Kricka and Gibli to go, and for the lab Ducken. The tracks were not easy since a heard of deer ran across the tracks!

Chila and the Nisse offspring Webley's Gibli "Gibli"

We left for Jularp, our family cottage in Höör in the middle of Skåne. There we had a nice meal with our family and also Anette and Tomas.

Saturday 11/06/2004

Finally some good weather!

We took a walk in the forrest with Lysa and Baron

We left for the duckhunt at Anette and Tomas

Beautiful sunset!

Lysa is interested and Kathy is waiting for the ducks to come!

The only duck that got shot was also Anette's first shot ever! Great!
The duck almost fell on Camilla's head so the retrieve was easy for Kricka - just 50 cm away

Ray and Vad gets a fresh duck. The others they have tried has been frosen first and then thawed.

Teamwork!!!

Back to the cottage for the "swedish smörgåsbord" with lots of herrings,
"Jansson's temptation" (Janssons frestelse....), meatballs, sausages etc....

and YES - we did the singing also....

Sunday 11/07/2004

We started with a walk in out animalpark that only has Scandinavian animals.

Papa Bear and the Bearnest

We looked at all our different deer - here is a Red deer "Kronhjort".
We also saw Fallow deer "Dovhjort" and Roe deer "Rådjur".

At the old grave of Vikings

Puppymeeting with the whole litter no 7 in the afternoon:

Anna & Nitro, Lars & Terra, Jamie & Vad, Kathy & Ray, Lars-Åke & Xon, Anette & Chila

Coffeebreak!

The puppies got to hear shots again and noone reacted in a negative way - that's really nice.

They also got some blackbirds. Vad really packs it in his mouth!

This dinner we actually took out at a chinease restaurant.
Thanks for that great meal Kathy and Jamie!

Monday 11/08/2004

We were told to be at the Copenhagen Airport at 4 o'clock in the morning. We tried to get some sleep before we got up at 2 o'clock.... The puppies stayed in the crate while we took the 50 minutes drive from Anette, across the Öresund bridge and then got to the Airport.

When we got there the place was totally empty of people! We could have slept for almost two more hours.

But the puppies got out and played for almost 2 hours and said hello to the people at the airport.
They sniffed at a couple's bags and then Jamie said:
"Your bags are now cleared - these are trained dogs to sniff Narcotics and you can go on!"

We did get tired and took a quick nap at Anette!

Here the puppies gets checked in - the crate and puppies weighed 16 kg.

GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND YOUR LOVELY PUPPIES!
